Text of the High Royal Will
We are Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,
Pursuant to article 36 and article 40, paragraph 2 (c), of the Constitution, we shall make our will as follows:
* The changes that have occurred in the Senate:
1. We, Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and Paragraph (2/c) of Article (40) of the Constitution, do hereby issue our Royal Decree as follows:
The resignation of Her Excellency Engineer Badriyeh Al-Mu‘taz Abdul Kareem Al-Balbisi from the membership of the Senate is hereby accepted, effective as of August 6, 2025.
2. We, Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and Paragraph (2/c) of Article (40) of the Constitution, do hereby issue our Royal Decree as follows:
The resignation of Her Excellency Dr. Reem Aqleh Nawash Abu Dalbouh is appointed as a member of the Senate, effective as of September 14, 2025.
3. We, Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and Paragraph (2/c) of Article (40) of the Constitution, do hereby issue our Royal Decree as follows:
The resignation of His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Ibrahim Boutros Ishaq Al-Hamarneh from the membership of the Senate is hereby accepted, effective as of April 16, 2026.
4. Royal decree appointing His Excellency Dr. Amjad Adnan Khalil Al-Jumai’an as a member of the Senate effective 4/5/2026.
We, Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and paragraph (2/c) of Article (40) of the Constitution, hereby issue our will as follows:
His Excellency Dr. Amjad Adnan Khalil Al-Jumai’an is appointed as a member of the Senate (Jordan) effective from 4/5/2026.
5. Royal Decree Accepting the Resignation of His Excellency Mr. Samir Zeid Samir Al-Rifai from Membership in the Senate, effective June 7, 2026
We, Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and Paragraph (2/C) of Article (40) of the Constitution, hereby issue our Royal Decree as follows:
The resignation of His Excellency Mr. Samir Zeid Samir Al-Rifai from membership in the Senate is accepted, effective as of June 7, 2026.
6. Royal Decree Appointing Al-Razzaz and Abu Al-Shaar as Members of the Senate, effective June 7, 2026
We, Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article (36) and Paragraph (2/C) of Article (40) of the Constitution, hereby issue our Royal Decree as follows:
His Excellency Dr. Omar Ahmad Muneef Al-Razzaz and Her Excellency Professor Dr. Hind Ghassan Tawfiq Abu Al-Shaar are appointed as members of the Senate, effective as of June 7, 2026.
