Amman - Senate President Faisal El-Fayez met with Tunisian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mufida Al-Zribi in his office at the Senate on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Jordanian-Tunisian Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee, Senator Ihsan Barakat. The two leaders discussed aspects of fraternal relations and ways to strengthen, develop, and build on them in various fields, in addition to the current situation in the region.
During the meeting, El-Fayez emphasized the strength of Jordanian-Tunisian relations, stating that they are solid and strong, based on mutual respect and serving the common interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The Senate President called for strengthening and enhancing joint cooperation, particularly in the economic and investment fields, and increasing trade exchange between the two countries. He also called for efforts to remove all obstacles to the development of bilateral relations and to continue coordination on various issues of common interest.
For her part, the Tunisian ambassador praised the high level of Tunisian-Jordanian relations and emphasized the importance of developing and building on them in various fields, for the benefit of both countries and their brotherly peoples. She also expressed her pride in the state of security and stability Jordan enjoys despite the challenges and conflicts surrounding it.
