Amman - Senate President Faisal El-Fayez congratulated all Christian sects, fellow members of the Senate and House of Representatives, and all Christian brothers and sisters in Jordan and Palestine on the occasion of Easter. He prayed that these holidays would return with Jordan always enjoying strength, security, stability, and continued progress and prosperity, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him.
In press statements today, El-Fayez emphasized that we in Jordan—Christians and Muslims, from various ethnicities, sects, and religions—cherish and take pride in the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and in his wisdom and political acumen, which have enabled the country to overcome the challenges surrounding it and the difficult circumstances facing our Arab nation. Today, he continues on its good path with confidence and determination.
El-Fayez said, "In Jordan, thanks to our Hashemite leadership, we have always been a model of coexistence. We have never been more than one family, with one culture and customs, one joy and one sorrow. We are united by a common destiny and a common goal. We have all contributed to building, reviving, and preserving the nation."
The Senate President expressed his pride in national unity and coexistence among the various components of our social fabric, emphasizing everyone's commitment to the nation and its progress in various fields, drawing their resolve and will from His Majesty the King, who, with his courage, has been able to overcome various difficulties for Jordan and lead Jordan's march toward the future with confidence, determination, and unwavering resolve.
