Senate Culture Committee Discusses Enhancing Political and Cultural Awareness Among Youth

Amman, April 14 - During its meeting today, Monday, chaired by Senator Dr. Haifa Al-Najjar, the Senate Culture, Youth, and Sports Committee discussed ways to enhance cultural and social awareness among youth.

Al-Najjar stated that the committee is keen to identify the needs of the culture, youth, and sports sectors in the Kingdom through its periodic meetings, field visits, and close follow-up with stakeholders.

She emphasized the importance of celebrating Flag Day, which falls the day after tomorrow, by raising the Jordanian flag on all facilities, buildings, and vehicles. This is especially important because it is an occasion that renews feelings of pride and honor in the hearts of every citizen.
Al-Najjar noted the committee's keenness to care for youth, given their essential role in society, and to strive to enhance their political, cultural, and social awareness.

For their part, committee members emphasized the importance of organizing workshops, training courses, and national programs for youth that aim to enhance their political, cultural, and social awareness, thus contributing to developing their skills, enabling them to interact with others, express themselves, and defend their established national positions.
