As part of the House of Parliament's hosting of the participants in the fourth cohort of the "AlHussein Fellowship Program" , a program of the Crown Prince Foundation and part of the Leadership Track, Assistant Secretary-General of the Senate Dr. Haitham Al-Sarayrah met with the program participants on Thursday during their visit to the House of Parliament as part of the program's political track.
The visit aimed to familiarize the participants with the role of the Senate in the constitutional system, particularly in the legislative and oversight aspects, and to emphasize the importance of the Senate's role in monitoring the performance of state institutions and strengthening the national legislative process.
The visit included an in-depth dialogue session that addressed the stages of the legislative process and the working mechanisms of the Senate. A real-life simulation session was also organized inside the House of Parliament dome, providing participants with a practical opportunity to understand how legislative procedures operate on the ground.
